   Maybe this is also off, but let me add that `mango_cursor_view` implements its own keep-alive mechanism: https://github.com/apache/couchdb/blob/e60e27554708f46a9e6528fa6049d025c1aba859/src/mango/src/mango_cursor_view.erl#L455-L467
   
   Does not it cause problems in this case?  Or perhaps this could be utilized to hook up a countermeasure action.
