SOAP 2.1 not compatible with Xerces 1.3.1?

SOAP 2.1 doesn't seem compatible with Xerces 1.3.1.  From recent discussion,
it seems that it may be compatible with Xerces 1.3.0, but I haven't tried
that version of Xerces.  I have it running with Xerces 1.2.0.

Does anybody know when Apache SOAP will be compatible with at least Xerces
1.3.1?
