Matt Burgess updated NIFI-14497:
--------------------------------
Status: Patch Available (was: In Progress)
> InvokeScriptedProcessor can no longer create its own properties using Expression Language
> -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: NIFI-14497
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-14497
> Project: Apache NiFi
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Extensions
> Reporter: Matt Burgess
> Assignee: Matt Burgess
> Priority: Major
> Labels: scripting
> Time Spent: 10m
> Remaining Estimate: 0h
>
> Before NIFI-9502, InvokeScriptedProcessor could have properties created by the script itself, and those properties could specify how/if Expression Language was supported. The necessary classes were moved to a new module and are not included in the nifi-scripting-nar. The appropriate dependencies should be added to the nifi-scripting-nar.
> This will also enable work to continue on NIFI-5115 (although that hasn't seen action in many years)
