$page and $link ... where can I find the docs?
Where can I find the docs for the useage of the $page and $link values with
Velocity? (I am assuming these are generated by Turbine, not velocity).
Thanks,
Jeremy

The class names for these tools are defined in your TR.props. Look at
the javadocs for the appropriate classes.

You are welcome. $page and $link are pull tools, a concept that is incredibly helpful. You can write your own pull tools and configure them in TR.props alongside $page and $link.

Ah! Thanks for the quick reply. I was searching the
TurbineResorces.properties file and found the
services.VelocityService.default.page = VelocityPage
So I was trying to figure it out from that, and the VelocityPage has no
such attributes as background :)
Thanks for the help, got it now,

They are Turbine classes configured by the Velocity Service. Take a look at your TurbineResources.properties for the lines
tool.request.link=
tool.request.page=
These will tell you the classes that are used for those tools. The best way to learn about them is by perusing the javadocs and sourcecode:
http://jakarta.apache.org/turbine/turbine-2.2.0/apidocs/
http://jakarta.apache.org/turbine/turbine-2.2.0/xref/
