Sounds like an interesting idea.
AI Tilmann see how other projects use it. Start with a Maven task and possibly integrate with GitHub...

@Andy what do you think: once enabled, should DataNucleus work without additional changes?

Everything is done. Ok to resolve the JIRA. This can be closed once we make the next release.
