Collection Adapter implementation guide

I've started working on a Collection Adapter impl guide.  There's lots 
of information that could be added to this but I need to know what folks 
would actually find to be useful.  Please give it some thought and let 
me know.

Just completed the port to the new code base. It was pretty easy.

If I could choose, I would like some recommended best practices on URI
naming (UUID vs plain old URLs) to be included in the implementation guide.
