[jira] [Created] (ARROW-109) [C++] Investigate recursive data types limit in flatbuffers

Micah Kornfield created ARROW-109:
-------------------------------------

             Summary: [C++] Investigate recursive data types limit in flatbuffers
                 Key: ARROW-109
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARROW-109
             Project: Apache Arrow
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: C++
            Reporter: Micah Kornfield

This was discovered when testing out recursion limit code. It appears there is a bug in our code or a limitation in flatbuffers that a nested type of length ~71 doesn't round trip correctly.
