[jira] [Commented] (CASSANDRA-8669) simple_repair test failing on
2.1
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-8669?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14382379#comment-14382379 ]
Yuki Morishita commented on CASSANDRA-8669:
-------------------------------------------
Bisected down to this commit: [871f0039c5bf89be343039478c64ce835b04b5cf|https://github.com/apache/cassandra/commit/871f0039c5bf89be343039478c64ce835b04b5cf] (CASSANDRA-8429)
With the one commit before (bedd97f7abea417c0165721888458e62392875e9), I can run {{repair_test.py}} continuously without failure.
As Philip commented before, somehow extra ranges are being repaired when test fails. I don't know if this relates to early open compaction since I modified {{repair_test.py}} and set {{sstable_preemptive_open_interval_in_mb: -1}} but test still fails with the same error.
Will dig some more.
