Regarding Streaming

HI,

I am a newbie to calcite. Exciting project indeed.

I was going through the streaming SQL at
https://calcite.apache.org/docs/stream.html.

The documentation says by saying the example schema called orders.

My question is, can this schema be in a different RDBMS, say Oracle? Is
there an example that we can use for streaming data from such an external
database?

Thats solves a big problem - I can throw away GoldenGate and CDC
approaches.(Of course, there may be a little penalty in querying the
database frequently).
