Thanks for the response.

It seems like a  selector using XPath could get me what I'm after.

However, I've read some things around about performance when using XPath.

We would likely have queues/topics of a couple hundred to a thousand
messages.

Any other way inherent in JMX / ActiveMQ to be able to consume a specific
message based on message content that perhaps I'm missing?
