[jira] [Created] (PROTON-251) When adding elements to an array,
elements of a different type should cause an error
Darryl L. Pierce created PROTON-251:
---------------------------------------
Summary: When adding elements to an array, elements of a different type should cause an error
Key: PROTON-251
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PROTON-251
Project: Qpid Proton
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: proton-c
Reporter: Darryl L. Pierce
If you create an array, you need to specify the type of elements for the array. Then it seems logical that adding an element of a different type should cause an error condition to occur and the element should not go into the array.
