REPORT request failed

Hi to all.

Checking out through http my project (fase), I receive the following error:

svn: REPORT request failed on '/svn/fase/!svn/vcc/default'
svn: REPORT of '/svn/fase/!svn/vcc/default': Could not read chunk size: 
connection was closed by server. (http://cosmos.iasf-milano.inaf.it)

This error arises only when some files have been already downloaded.

If I checkout my project with a file:/// path, it works; so the blame is of 
Apache (2.0.50) and Subversion (1.2.3).

Can you help me to solve this trouble?
