Sounds reasonable but you can do the same with lambdas unless you are getting your array elsewhere... but... you write filter out and the current logic is to filter IN, IOW the files accepted by the filter are returned.

What does it mean when you have an array? Is it an OR or an AND? Might as well use lambdas...
