ClusterDumper's --evaluate flag

What does ClusterDumper's --evaluate flag do, exactly? I've looked at
the code and understand that it calls RepresentativePointsDriver, and
generates a bunch of stuff in ./tmp/representative, but what is this
"stuff" it generates and what good is it? What can I use it for/how
can I use the output?
