how to debug

hello,
 
i am trying to test phoenix platform,i think its great but
i donot known if its posibble to create a sample block and  
do debug work in a IDE like jbuilder?

many IDEs will let you debug external processes by passing parameters 
to the JVM to put it into a debug mode. For JBuilder, you need their 
enterprise product to do that. With the standard versions you would 
need to launch Phoenix from inside JBuilder. Look at the startup batch 
files to see what the jvm arguments look like.
