Cherry picking to release90

Hi all,

Do we have any ideas to ensure that we're cherry picking everything we need
in release90 from main, i.e., what if we forget to cherry pick something
and it stays in main only -- and what's our generic mechanism for cherry
picking?

The usual answer is "have a test that fails".  What is a test that will
fail if something was forgotten?
