Hi All
I'm also getting the same error. Can any one understand why this is
happening?
Is there any incompatiblity with jmeter2.5 and distribuited testing?

That is normal, because JMeter now starts the registry itself.
If it cannot do so, it will log an error in the server log file which
should give a clue as to what happened.

Hi
The error was coming because the command to start 'rmiregistry' was
commented in the "Jmeter server.bat file".
This error could also come if the path to rmiregistry is not correct or
contain any white spaces in the path.
