   Can we use rwlock_t from https://github.com/apache/nuttx/pull/10776 to solve this issue ? 
   atomic_int is C11 feature I think, so probably it won't be available on all supported platforms.
   
   I was testing rwlock_t from https://github.com/apache/nuttx/pull/9739 before but it was too slow. 
   This new approach is faster and appears to solve the problem for FOC.
