[Bug 53881] New: Apache Monitor auto-start collides with UAC under Winsows7

https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=53881

          Priority: P2
            Bug ID: 53881
          Assignee: dev@tomcat.apache.org
Summary: Apache Monitor auto-start collides with UAC under
                    Winsows7
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
          Reporter: jaroslav.zaruba@gmail.com
          Hardware: PC
            Status: NEW
           Version: unspecified
         Component: Integration
           Product: Tomcat 7

Apache Monitor is added to applications to be run at OS start yet it merely
yields an err message every time when UAC is on, because it has to be run with
Administrator privileges.

--- Comment #1 from Rainer Jung <ra...@kippdata.de> ---
The 2 Tomcat Windows exe files come from another project named Commons Daemon.
The UAC issue with them are tracked there under

https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DAEMON-245

Regards,

Rainer
