[jira] [Created] (OODT-237) Balance doesn't support website paths that contain tilde in them

Balance doesn't support website paths that contain tilde in them
----------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: OODT-237
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OODT-237
             Project: OODT
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: balance
            Reporter: Chris A. Mattmann
             Fix For: 0.4

I was deploying and configuring RCMET and I dumped the webapp in my Mac sites directory, accessible from:

http://localhost/~mattmann/rcmet/

However, I couldn't get balance to recognize the URL (even after mucking with config.ini and .htaccess). It might be some rewrite magic/etc., that is required, but if so, then we should document how to do it.
