   I'm facing the exact same issue.
   I have a realtime table consuming data from kinesis with the assumed role based identity. After an hour, I get "Illegal state exception, connection is broken: Connection pool shut down" log from the server. When I restart the server pods, it works fine until the same problem pops up after an hour. 
   
   I have increased maximum session duration for 12 hours but did not impact anything. The only detour is to restart server pods every 50min or so. 
   
   @piby180 and I should not be the only ones facing this issue. Can you guys take a look at this?
