[jira] [Created] (MAILETSTANDARD-10) Target JDK

Target JDK
----------

                 Key: MAILETSTANDARD-10
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MAILETSTANDARD-10
             Project: JAMES Standard Mailets
          Issue Type: Task
    Affects Versions: 1.1
            Reporter: Robert Burrell Donkin
            Assignee: Robert Burrell Donkin
             Fix For: 1.2

Target JDK[1] is 1.5 but release is compiled with 1.6.0_24. I wondered
whether the aim was to build a 1.5 release with the 1.6 compiler
(which I'm comfortable with BTW) or just an oversight about target-jdk
in the pom (which wouldn't be a blocker for me for this release).

[jira] [Closed] (MAILETSTANDARD-10) Target JDK

Ioan Eugen Stan closed MAILETSTANDARD-10.
-----------------------------------------

    Resolution: Not A Problem

JDK 1.5 is EOL. Java 1.6 will also be soon. SO targeting 1.6 is better.
