The possibility to statically compile Groovy scripts (which can be part of workflow process definition via the {{<scriptTask/>}} element) is currently [being discussed|http://forum.flowable.org/t/is-it-possible-to-compile-groovy-script-task-statically/300/4] in Flowable, an Activiti fork.

Even in case Activiti won't officially provide such enhancement, we could anyway import it from there.
