[Issue 124600] New: New Tab's Print Area is Empty

https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=124600

          Issue ID: 124600
        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: New Tab's Print Area is Empty
           Product: Calc
           Version: 4.0.1
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Windows, all
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: P3
         Component: printing
          Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
          Reporter: jd@cococo.de

On creating a new tab, the print area does not become Extended automatically.
This is Kind of cheating someone, who wants to print it all. He/she might not
notice the missing tab data!!!!

This isn't an issue. It is the whole well defined behaviour.

You have to delete the defined print areas from the first 2 sheets to have to
print all. Or you have to define print areas at all sheets that should be
printed.

NOT reproducible with "AOO 4.0.1 Release – German UI / German locale
[AOO401m5(Build:9714) - Rev. 1524958 2013-09-20 11:40:29]" on German WIN7
Home Premium (64bit)", “historic” 4.0 User Profile used for all predecessor
versions.

In a new document with minimum contents (sheet numbers in A1) I added new
empty sheet at the end and typed sheet number "4". Will be shown in Page
Preview (but not if sheet is empty). New sheet with contents will be included
into printout.

Probably user error, expected that also an empty sheet would be shown in print
preview?

@Jens611
Thank you for your feedback – unfortunately important information we will
need to reproduce your problem is missing.
Please add all information requested in following:
a) Write a meaningful Summary describing exactly what the problem is
b) Attach a sample document (not only screenshot) or refer to an existing
sample document in an other Bug with a link; to attach a file to this
bug report, just click on "Add an attachment" right on this page.
If you want to attach a test kit with multiple documents zip them into
  a single testkit.zip and attach the testkit.zip
c) Contribute a document related step by step instruction containing every
key press and every mouse click how to reproduce your problem
d) Attach screenshots with comments if you believe that that might explain the
problem better than a text comment. Best way is to insert your screenshots
into a DRAW document and to add comments that explain what you want to show
e) if possible contribute an instruction how to create a sample document
  from the scratch
f) add information
f1) what EXACTLY is unexpected. I only know 'Format - Print Range'. What
     is a "Print Range"?
f2) and WHY do you believe it's unexpected (cite Help or Documentation!)
f9) Whether that worked in former OOO / AOO Versions
f10) whether (and how) a competitor's software (MSO, LibreOffice, ...)
       fulfills your needs

Please do not cite these hints in your reply, but cite the items like:
f7): Desktop-icon for soffice.exe / AOO File menu -> Open
