Hadoop tests - long runtime on windows?

Hi,

I would like to develop a small patch for Hadoop but I found that test
command [ant -Djavac.args="-Xlint -Xmaxwarns 1000" clean test] takes quite
long to finish on windows (I haven't tried this on Linux). What is expected
runtime of complete Hadoop code base test cycle? I am following
http://wiki.apache.org/hadoop/HowToContribute and I use ordinary notebook
with dual-core processor with about 1GB of RAM, WinXP infected.
