Connection closed unexpetedly

I had command line svn client/server working between my Win2k (client)
machine and Linux (server) machine, but now I get the above error when
I do, say, and svn list command.

One thing strange is that my TurtoiseSVN client works.

What gives? I have v1.4.2...
