new 63704a86 ci: run the unit tests in the pull request workflow
63704a86 is described below

commit 63704a866059417eafe5cae7108075ec0fad3464
Author: Claus Ibsen <cl...@gmail.com>
AuthorDate: Fri Sep 18 19:43:06 2026 +0200

ci: run the unit tests in the pull request workflow

yarn test (node:test over test/*-test.js, covering the Markdown pipeline
and the other gulp helpers and scripts) was only ever run by hand. It
now runs in the checks job before the site build, so a broken helper
fails the PR in a second instead of going unnoticed.

    Closes #1776
