[jira] [Created] (OAK-12468) Mismatch of embedded versions of azure-core-http and reactor-netty
Julian Reschke created OAK-12468:
------------------------------------
Summary: Mismatch of embedded versions of azure-core-http and reactor-netty
Key: OAK-12468
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-12468
Project: Jackrabbit Oak
Issue Type: Bug
Components: blob-cloud-azure, segment-azure
Reporter: Julian Reschke
Co-pilot analysis point to issue from oak-blob-cloud-azure,
{quote}Oak Azure bundle (oak-blob-cloud-azure) also doesn't take netty from any other bundle. It carries its own private copies inside itself, so nothing outside it, including Guides, can affect it.
What is actually wrong:
Inside oak-blob-cloud-azure 2.6.0 there are two libraries that don't match each other: * The Azure HTTP client library (azure-core-http-netty 1.16.4), which was built to work with reactor-netty 1.2.x.
* An older reactor-netty library (1.0.40).
When a proxy is configured, the newer Azure client calls a method named socketAddress(). That method only exists in reactor-netty 1.2 and later, not in the older 1.0.40 copy that Oak bundles. So Java throws NoSuchMethodError, the DataStore can't start, the repository never comes up, and the pods fail their health checks.{quote}
