Call for big data proposals

Dear subscribers,

My name is Shumin Guo. I am the author of the Hadoop management book "Hadoop
Operations and Cluster Management
Cookbook<http://www.amazon.com/Hadoop-Operations-Cluster-Management-Cookbook/dp/1782165169/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1395873783&sr=8-1&keywords=hadoop+operations+and+cluster+management+cookbook>".
Currently, I am writing my second book on Hadoop Big Data analytics. It
will contain a few real world big data projects. The goal of the book is to
showcase how to answer "big" questions using big data.

Now, I am sincerely calling for big data proposals. If you have any big
data ideas or are facing big data challenges, I am interested to hear from
you. If your proposal is accepted, I will send you a copy of the printed
book or give you some cash rewards. And your name will be featured on the
acknowledgement section of the book. You can also be one of the authors if
you want to collaborate with me.

As a book for general audiences, the proposed data should not require too
much domain knowledge and should be approachable by the general public.
Besides this requirement, I hope your proposal contain at least the
following sections:

1) Describe the data set, why it can be interesting to explore, and is it
public?
2) What "big" questions/answers do you want to derive from your data set?
3) What techniques do you want to use for analytics?
