[GitHub] [streampipes] dominikriemer opened a new issue, #559: Harmonize web servers used by StreamPipes services

dominikriemer opened a new issue, #559:
URL: https://github.com/apache/streampipes/issues/559

Currently, the backend service runs in an embedded tomcat server, while pipeline element services run on Undertow.

A common web server, defined by streampipes-container-base, was blocked so far due to specific path encoding settings required by the backend service.

STREAMPIPES-376 unblocks this issue, so that common webserver configs can be centrally managed by the streampipes-container-base module.

Imported from Jira [STREAMPIPES-383](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/STREAMPIPES-383). Original Jira may contain additional context.
   Reported by: riemer.
