[users@httpd] Help with Apache Log error file

Hello:
 
I am trying to execute a perl program, but I am getting the following error message in the error.log file and I do not understand it:
 
[Mon Jun 30 20:42:55 2003] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] Argument "rows" isn't numeric in subtraction (-) at c:\apache\cgi-bin\ILSRES~1.PL line 102.
 
And here is what I have at the indicated line:
 
line 99-                       sub surveyform {
line 100-                                        print(
line 101-                                                br(),br(),
line 102 -                                               start_form(),
..........................................
 
}
 
This is a subroutine.
