[jira] [Commented] (FELIX-6487) Update to Jetty 11

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FELIX-6487?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17496475#comment-17496475 ]

Rakesh Kumar commented on FELIX-6487:
-------------------------------------

[~cziegeler] going by the trend there should be javax.servlet as well as jakarta.servlet implementations. Jetty, Undertow has done similarly.

This will give people a choice to get all the latest that has been happening in jakarta.servlet world and whoever wants to stay behind can live with javax.servlet.

I saw you already started working in jakarta.servlet in Felix GitHub repo.

But having two implementations means more maintenance.

Please let me know your thoughts.
