[GitHub] [camel-k] squakez edited a comment on issue #2462: Provide tag for Camel K examples repository
squakez edited a comment on issue #2462:

> I think initially the idea was having a repository where we can point new users, without the need of building the full camel-k project, but just pick an example and run it. This is an approach we have even in other projects like plain Camel, Camel-Spring-Boot and Camel-Karaf.

Ah, okey, was missing that piece. Definetely makes sense then. If we want to stick to this rule, then, we could work this around by moving the examples actually present in `camel-k repo` to `camel-k-examples`. The downside is that we still need to remind to align versioning on the example repository when we bump it for main repo.
