I'm trying to install AOO 3.4 from the MSI packet (extracted from executable
setup) with /qn /i parameters set.
OpenOffice 3.2.1 is already installed and should be updated by silent
installation.
MSI installation fails with error 1303, no access to directory
"%PROGRAMFILES%\OpenOffice.org 3\program".
This directroy isn't existing at that moment, has been removed during upgrade
process.
A second execution of msiexec after that installs OO 3.4 properly, as well as
it works fine on first attempt when no prior version of OO is installed, it's
just the update that fails.

Same problem here, on silent update, we have a 1303 error (c:\program
files\Openoffice.org 3\program). Install user either system account, local
admin, domain admin. UAC is off.

Tried to rename "%PROGRAMFILES%\OpenOffice.org 3" folder before updating, this
works fine. But installer should update without such workarounds...

The setup.exe has no own parameters. It uses the same parameters as msiexec.
'msiexec.exe /?' shows the parameters.

As you can see by a double click on the msi file the msi file is blocking the
direct installation on Win7/Vista
(https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=106637). Therefore an
installation with /qn won't work. Starting the setup.exe with parameters will
solve your problem

Changing the setup with the new line :

It's working, there is no more 1303 error.
But the last parameter (REMOVE=..) is not taken on consideration. Once the
default dictionnary (now "bundleld") is installed i can't remove it with unopkg
to update (silent deployment)...
