jira issues notification

hi all guys,
does anyone know why notification messages sent from JIRA have to be moderated?
I just had to authorize 7 messages, is there any way to trust them once for all?
Many thanks in advance, have a nice day!

Hi,

Whenever there is a commit to the project (once we import the Any23 code to
incubaotr SVN), it is a trivial process of setting up the CI build and
configuring all JIRA issues which have been committed to be updated
automatically, this in turn will be relayed on to our dev list.

Do we have a timeline for code migration?

Thanks

Lewis

Hi Guys,

I was pointing to the Hudson example to show how you can add a bot's
email to the subscribe list so you don't have to mod them through anymore. I should
have been a bit clearer, sorry. I just meant you could use a similar command
to add JIRA's email to the any23 lists so that when issue notifications are sent, we
don't have to mod them through.

Cheers,
Chris

Hi Chris!
IIUC the wiki is related to Hudson, not JIRA, not sure if enabling
one, the other would be automatically allowed...
I'll join the #asfinfra chan and ask :)

Hey Guys,

Check out the Hudson wiki page:

http://wiki.apache.org/general/Hudson#How_do_I_allow_Jenkins_to_mail_to_my_project.27s_.22dev.22_list.3F

We should set it up so JIRA has permission to email our dev list, maybe? Or maybe infra@
can check it out?

Cheers,
Chris

I'm a moderator too, I tried to let them pass through by using 'reply to
all', I remember this was the correct way of letting jiras pass through but
I may be wrong; let's see if we'll get other MODERATE emails ;)

Tommaso

Hi Simone,

I'm guessing you are (main?) moderator of Jira and possibly our discussion
lists. I don't think it is necessary for you to approve ALL issues as I
think they might filter through anyway, however I'm sure there will be
someone else able to answer this one.
