  The CouchDB project includes GNU autotools based scripts to build from source, which creates a self-extracting install package for Windows. The official release artefact is the [[http://www.apache.org/dyn/closer.cgi?path=/couchdb/source|signed tar.gz archive]], and additionally, a signed binary is available also on the [[http://www.apache.org/dyn/closer.cgi?path=/couchdb/binary/|Apache Mirrors]] for convenience.
