[jira] Closed: (FOR-597) Internal Plugin which allows generation of a Google Sitemap conformant list of pages for a Forrest site

Ross Gardler closed FOR-597:
----------------------------

    Fix Version: 0.8-dev
     Resolution: Fixed

Applied to whiteboard with minor modifications:

- added site.xml and tabs.xml page so docs can be generated
- add links to sample files in index.xml and site.xml
- changed rss URL to google-sitemap.rss.xml to match Forrest conventions (name[.type].format)

This works but there are many stack overflow exceptions when generating the sitemap (perhaps linked to the problems you have identified when generating a static site?)

I'll raise issues about the problems I see

> This a simple internal plugin which allows users to access a list of pages
> (currently crawling only *.html and *.xml pages), in google sitemap format,
> contained in their site linkmap.html by the calling the top-level pages:
> -google-sitemap.xml
> -google-sitemap_rss.xml
