SpamAssassin for windows

Hi @all,

we are searching for some who will continue part of the work from the sourceforge project http://sourceforge.net/projects/sawin32/ .
We are willing to pay or donate if someone will continues developing (improving windows integration and keeping up to date with current SpamAssassin releases) that windows version of spamd.
Is there some who is interested in this?

Greetings

Harry

No.
If I not embed it in an exe file I would need to install ActiveState-Perl and SpamAssassin together with my application.
And I don't like to install a complete runtime environment (16mb setup) if it can be done with one exe file (4mb).

So it is better for us to create a new exe file, say twice a year (depending on the changes in SpamAssassin).

I'm not running SA in a windows environment, so I may be missing some
important point. Do I?

There's a source code file on the project's download page at http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=175673. However
I'm not a programmer myself so I have no idea if it includes what you'd need to pick up where the author left off. I hope it would,
as I would also love to see this project updated!

Cheers,
Jeremy

(1) Sorry if I'm being lazy by not digging for this... but is the
*source code* for sawin32 project available so that someone could pick
up where the author left off?

(2) Has the author not been responsive to requests/e-mail?

I'd actually be interested in taking this on--if I could somehow do the
programming in vb.NET, which is quite a bit more powerful and vb, and
has been used quite successfully to port ClamAV, btw.

I currently use an older port as a "helper app" to my own spam
filtering--but I had to revert to an even older version due to
memory/cpu issues with the most recent win32 build.
