DO NOT REPLY [Bug 46176] New: colspan in HTML tables produces
incorrect table rendering
https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=46176
Summary: colspan in HTML tables produces incorrect table
rendering
Product: Fop
Version: 0.95
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows Vista
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: pdf
AssignedTo: fop-dev@xmlgraphics.apache.org
ReportedBy: rosenauer@gmx.at
The attached DocBook XML document contains two tables (because DocBook supports
two table styles): a normal HTML table, see:
http://www.docbook.org/tdg5/en/html/html.td.html
and a CALS table, see:
http://www.docbook.org/tdg5/en/html/cals.table.html
Both contain a row which spans 2 columns. This works correctly for the second
(CALS) table, but not for the HTML table.
Tried tith the latest stable DocBook-stylesheets 1.74.0 (-ns Variant from July
2008) with FOP 0.95 under Windows (and also under Linux).

etc)

Hi,
There's no attachment actually...
Moreover, I somehow doubt that FOP is at fault here. It may be a problem with
the DocBook XSLT style sheets, or even simply a matter of a style sheet
customisation. You may want to describe your problem on the docbook-apps [1]
mailing list first.

Thanks,
Vincent
