I'm starting in on 0.95.1...

Speak now if there is anything in particular you would like included. I
would like to put up an RC by the end of the week.

Thanks,

I'd like to get the build against hadoop2 to the point where no tests
always hang or always fail. I believe we've taken care of always fail, and
have a few hangs left.

There are flakies but I'll get those on the next sweep.

Jon.

I need to know if our latest tactic will work for the downstreamers.   If
any downstreamers listening, does this work for you?

https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/snapshots/org/apache/hbase/hbase-client/

We set the version to have a -hadoop1 or -hadoop2 suffix and then deploy.
I can release our stuff like this if it'll work for you all?

That would be wonderful.

I think we should solve the maven artifacts problems this time so that
downstream projects, bigtop, flume, etc can start testing their integration
with hbase with hadoop2.

Blockers are gone. A load of work has gone in since 0.95.0. including
hbase-7006, our new log replay mechanism. I was going to roll a 0.95.1 in
next day or so unless objection? (Build against hadoop2 we can address in
0.95.2...)

Speak up if anything in particular you want to get in?
