Transactional JMS with qpid JCA

Trying to run app using transactional JMS.

Get following message when UseLocalTx is set to true in ra.xml

WARN [loggerI18N]
[com.arjuna.ats.internal.jta.transaction.arjunacore.lastResource.disallow]
[com.arjuna.ats.internal.jta.transaction.arjunacore.lastResource.disallow]
Adding multiple last resources is disallowed. Current resource is
org.jboss.resource.connectionmanager.TxConnectionManager$LocalXAResource@45b6a7

As suggested by some of the posts ( e.g.
http://community.jboss.org/wiki/Multiple1PC ) , added <xa-transaction/> to
the <connection-factories> tag in qpid.jca.ds.xml.

That caused the following error:

WARN [JBossManagedConnectionPool] Throwable while attempting to get a new
connection: null
java.lang.NullPointerException
      at
org.apache.qpid.ra.QpidRAManagedConnection.getXAResource(QpidRAManagedConnection.java:462)

Please advise. Any help is appreciated.
