     was 53ba1a684a Modified Vertex in grammar to only require an `id` with `label` as optional, i.e. `Vertex(id)`, removed the support `new` and `ReferenceVertex`. Part of TINKERPOP-3023.

The revisions that were on this branch are still contained in
other references; therefore, this change does not discard any commits
from the repository.
