    Resolution: Fixed

Stopping the cleaner thread is now part of stopping the buffer cache which is done on NC shutdown. The mentioned issue of closing on pinned pages shouldn't happen on the current master because the cleaner thread is stopped gracefully and not interrupted during a cleaning cycle.
