[jira] [Commented] (CB-3578) cordova platform add blackberry fails
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-3578?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13674509#comment-13674509 ]
Filip Maj commented on CB-3578:
-------------------------------
I believe this is related to CB-3497. It looks to me like BlackBerry requires that some dependencies be installed before the {{create}} and other scripts can be run, which cordova-cli relies on.
I will investigate shortly when I get into the office.
Perhaps [~bryanhiggins] can shed some light? Bryan, I just saw you updated the documentation to require that {{npm install}} be run before we can use {{create}}. If anything, we should have {{create}} automatically invoke {{npm install}}, to line it up with the flow of the command line tooling of all the other platform implementations in Cordova.
