[jira] Commented: (NMAVEN-12) Support for Invoking the MavenEmbedder Methods from .NET Applications

Shane Isbell commented on NMAVEN-12:
------------------------------------

I successfully got a .NET web service client to communicate build instructions with xFire running on Apache. However, it looks as though the MavenEmbedder itself is not mature enough to use right now (according to Jason wait until 2.1-alpha-1). Other options include, 1) new MavenEmbedder; 2) MavenCli; 3) execute through a process. Options 2, 3 are workable but there is a problem of getting the build output to the IDE console in a timely way.

> As part of the IDE integration, Visual Studio and Sharp Develop need to use maven functionality. This feature will support a way for .NET applications to invoke the MavenEmbedder methods.
