1.0 timetable

Err, according to the timetable, patches were supposed to be in by
today (meaning no more today) and votes by the end of tomorrow.

Some patches came in today, so I guess we need to push all the
deadlines forward one day. I should have said something yesterday to
remind people.

So, no more patches after today.

No more votes after thursday.

Aim for a release on Oct 20th.

BTW, hands up if you think GIF rendering under Netscape sucks... treat
yourself to a colourful GIF under Xmosaic to remind yourself what you've
been missing!  :-)
