sonar-maven-plugin 2.7: sonar.host.url settings parameter not
working?
Hi,
today the sonar-maven-plugin 2.7 was available on our Nexus and now suddenly many users cannot report to Sonar any more:
[ERROR] SonarQube server 'http://localhost:9000' can not be reached
[INFO] ------------------------------------------------------------------------
[INFO] BUILD FAILURE
[INFO] ------------------------------------------------------------------------
[INFO] Total time: 4.139 s
[INFO] Finished at: 2015-10-23T10:42:52+02:00
[INFO] Final Memory: 12M/277M
[INFO] ------------------------------------------------------------------------
[ERROR] Failed to execute goal org.codehaus.mojo:sonar-maven-plugin:2.7:sonar (default-cli) on project simpleproject: Fail to download libraries from server: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect -> [Help 1]
It seems that the new version ignores the parameter "sonar.host.url" from Maven's settings.xml file. Version 2.6 works fine.
Do we have to change our configuration somehow?

thanks for the post to the SonarQube Google Group, we'll watch the discussion.
We've already asked our users to downgrade to 2.6 which works fine.

I looked at the release notes for the plugin (
https://jira.sonarsource.com/jira/secure/ReleaseNote.jspa?projectId=10977&version=11927)
and there is no mention of having to change config so I assume this is a
bug.
I have started this thread on the mailing list to raise a bug:

The easiest way to fix the sonar plugin version in the short term is to
replace the sonar:sonar part of the maven command line with
org.codehaus.mojo:sonar-maven-plugin:2.6:sonar.
