releasing using maven

I found the correct documentation for releasing maven projects using
the apache nexus staging repo

If you don't get any reply from the maven guys then I would send an email describing your problem to the empire-db-private list. Maybe one of our mentors (Martijn or Henning) can help.

I tried releasing a snapshot to the apache nexus but that failed. I
think I need to become member of the maven group. Sent a mail to
repository@apache.org but have not received a response yet (not even
sure my mail arrived at the mailing list)

Great.
I have had a quick look at it and it looks quite complicated.
But then it is also quite detailed so I hope there won't be any problems.

I am really looking forward to getting the release off the shelf now, and getting Emipre-db into a real repository.
