Apache 2.0.39 for Windows is not compatible with Chili!Soft ASP 3.6.2

Summary: Apache 2.0.39 for Windows is not compatible with
                    Chili!Soft ASP 3.6.2
           Product: Apache httpd-2.0
           Version: 2.0.39
          Platform: PC
               URL: http://www.chilisoft.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=908
        OS/Version: Windows NT/2K
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: All
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: pwarren@thorlock.com

If using Apache 2.0.39 for Windows in combination with Chili!Soft ASP 3.6.2,
the Apache service fails to start. The following message is logged by Apache in
the application log:

Event ID: 3299
Source: Apache Service
Category: Error
Description:
The Apache service named reported the following error:
>>> Apache.exe: module "E:\DEVELOPMENT\CHILIASP\CASPLIB\NtWebServer\apachmod20
\src\Apachemod.c" is not compatible with this version of Apache.

I have witnessed this problem on both Windows 2000 Professional and Windows
NT4.0 Server. I have also read reports of the problem on Windows 2000 Advanced
Server.

Chili!Soft has recognised this problem and is working on a solution. The only
known workaround is to downgrade to Apache 2.0.36.

The download page for Apache 2.0.39 for Windows should mention this problem so
that Chili!Soft ASP users do not kill their servers.

NOTE: I realise that this is probably a bug in Chili!Soft ASP and not Apache.
However, I could not find a better method to inform the Apache/Chili!SoftASP
community of this issue as a lot of people will be looking at upgrading due to
the security problem with 2.0.36.
