[Bug 57422] New: https://ant.apache.org/ - Certificate missmatch

https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=57422

            Bug ID: 57422
           Summary: https://ant.apache.org/ - Certificate missmatch
           Product: Ant
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: PC
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Other
          Assignee: notifications@ant.apache.org
          Reporter: marco.tanner@gmail.com

Hi,

I'm facing problems with our proxy server due to an error on the apache.org
site: you are using a X.509 certificate issued for openoffice.org and
*.openoffice.org for your site ant.apache.org.

Because of this name mismatch our web proxy blocks your client's the connection
attempt.

Cheers,
Marco

--- Comment #1 from Stefan Bodewig <bo...@apache.org> ---
When I visit https://ant.apache.org/ the certificate used has the serial number
58:60:4E:AD:AA:64:7B:37:7E:05:65:6C:02:D9:AD:99 issued for *.apache.org.

--- Comment #2 from Marco Tanner <ma...@gmail.com> ---
Never mind, this was a SNI problem on our side. (Some webservers hosting
ant.apache.org use SNI while others do not, and this confused our web proxy.)"
